Indra, a black grizzled ticked tabby Chausie

Tasurt Independance of Sarsenstone

Independance was bred by Bobbie Tullo and named by her in theme with his birth date, which was the fourth of July. However, he wasn't living with us very long before his exotic face and behavior had us calling him "Indra" for short. Indra is an ancient fire god in the land of India. He was also an adventurous type who kept getting into scrapes.

Our Indra is a black grizzled tabby. He's an exceptionally good example in that his pattern is completely grizzled. There are no spots or stripes interrupting the grizzling. That is considered ideal for grizzled Chausies.

Indra is still only a baby, less than a year old. We hope that when he grows up he will be a fertile male. He's got a good shot at it, since he is an SBT generation Chausie.
